I used a Quantum Kevlar main for years, and a Quantum Dacron main in this year's nationals. I haven't really fully gotten used to the Dacron, but it certainly is fast--I'd still probably pick Kevlar / Carbon for a new main, but maybe ask me in a year and I'll change my mind. All the afore-mentioned lofts are great supporters of the fleet and make competitive sails. Service, performance, and durability are my criteria and I've been very happy with Quantum, but certainly the other sailmakers provide that combination as well.

:: Is Quantum the choice for sails? Kevlar vs. dacron ? for
:: main? Anyone delt with Don T. from Quantum?
