"My crew is starting to swing around to pick me up when El Raton, in perfect control slides up beside me and asks if I would like to get picked up. They had already doused their chute and stopped beside me. I took their offer and got back into a boat (trying to stop a lightweight trimaran next to someone when it is blowing in the mid-20s is not easy so I figured I would not turn down El Raton. My crew ably finished the race on Papillon, only one boat behind El Raton! And I had many adventures with El Raton, but that is their story to tell. Santa Cruz Sails is currently offering an increased discount on a bulk fleet order this winter. In addition to our standard winter discount of 10% we will step it up to 15% for 5 sails purchased and 20% for 10 sails purchased.
Our sails are designed for long life in the tough SF Bay conditions with a design history that goes back to the inception of the class. The design team has at least 6 National Championships between them and our clients have won many more. Both the Long Distance Series and overall Fleet Championship were won by Santa Cruz Sails equipped boats this year- and most of the sails on Fleet winner Baffet are more than 5 seasons old!
