Subject: Hull #56 Rebirth begins!

Repairs continue. Actual hole is 100% repaired. You can't tell from the outside where the damage was at all. 100% vacume bagged repair is probably tougher than new- she is nice and stiff! Now on to the deck refinishing! Will

:: We are now well on our way to being fully repaired. The
:: fiber glass experts at Santa Cruz yachts are doing a
:: beautiful job. We will be hard pressed to tell just
:: where that port tacker hit soon! We are in the process
:: of refinishing the interior and picking out the new
:: nonskid deck color. I'm trying to be OK with the fact
:: that several features will be nicer than what I have on
:: my own boat....
::
:: You know you want it. Call me and you can pick out your
:: own colors and hardware package for a truly custom boat!

:: :: :: I will ask. Is there a market?
:: ::
:: :: :I think there is if the price isn't too high. Other
:: :: people are building and selling small sailboats which I
:: :: bet don't sail nearly as well as an Express 27. For
:: :: example, a builder in L.A. recently started production
:: :: on Martin 24s at a reasonable asking price. Colgate 26s
:: :: are in production. Not to mention Alerion 28s.
