Subject: Mast raising / lowering

We had to lower our mast for the season last night and well it was interesting for a minute or two but we did lower it.

I was wondering if anyone had a procedure for raising / lowering the mast? Don\t know if there are different base plate configurations but I have the hinge pin with the peg at the front to lock it in.
