I've sailed the boat with the original tiller for many years, a J-24 tiller as it's first replacement for about 16 years, and then now the Catalina 22 tiller. I've sailed with this latest one for a year

I still have my original tiller and I compared it to the latest one and it is indeed the exact same shape as the Catalina 22 tiller. It feels better to me than the J24 tiller which is several inches higher and I think a few inches shorter.
