I dont have one but one thing you or others might think about- I cruise a lot and use a 5hp mercury long shaft. I think 5 hp is needed for long range cruising that invoolves a lot of motoring, and powers nicely at 6 knots. You can get a murcury with an optional internal alternator, which is wired to my batteries and allows me to use a tiller autopilot. The alternator charges the batteries nicely.
