Team Lono rallied on Memorial Day weekend. On Friday we sailed from Maui to Oahu to compete in the annual J D Johnson "Three Day Around" Oahu race (I think it was my 27 th. year). In three days we circunavigate Oahu with "over nights" at Kanehoe Yacht Club and the new Ko O'lina marina on the leeward coast.The third day we finish back at The Ala Wai yacht harbor where we began. It was a great weekend and in the end we won the series "overall". The Express 27 just keeps'em guessing! We sailed with adjusted ratings of 220 and 215 and still prevailed. Guess I can't bitch about my 126 and 135 ratings here in Hawaii.
