I'll start by saying that I'm getting nothing for posting this. I see many posts by people trying to get parts for their KVH Sailcomp's. Evolution came with a KVH and it seems like each of the 4 years we had the KVH we were monkeying around trying to fix something in that convoluted mess of wires. Last fall we brought a wireless GPS driven Rock Box from Rock City Marine.

The Rock Box does everything the Volicitech does and more, it has a larger display and it illuminates.

We've been very pleased with the unit and the customer support. We're even getting a free upgrade to the new 2008 model. Chris is always looking to improve his product.
