I have heard that the 4 stroke motors cannot be laid on their side like the 2 strokes because of oil leakage. Is that true? Thanks in advance.

We fuel while on the transon with no problem and if there is wind we sail. Our motor has been back and forth from Maui to Oahu 8 times. The bonus is it's air cooled so there is no impeller to worry about. We really like the 27 lbs..
