Thanks for posting, and noting your objection.
To all -- there will be no change in the rules for the express fleet
for the double-handed farallones race this coming weekend. Sail
inventories will be as per the posted class rules. If you want to
race this race for the purposes of PHRF finish that is your business.
If you race the race not adhering to the class rules as written, you
will not be scored for either the season standings or the
long-distance series. I hope this is clear. Sorry for any last minute
confusion.

:: :: this race only, boats may carry and set at their
:: :: discretion: shy-kites, reaching kites, and blast

:: :: access to these sails and feels that they will be at a
:: :: material disadvantage because of not having access to
:: :: these sails for this race, and they post a message on
:: :: this site explaining this position, this exception to
:: :: the class rules will not apply, and the sail inventory
:: :: will be limited by the current class rules. The
:: :: objection posting to the farrallones event space must be
:: :: posted no later than 5:00 PM Thursday 4/5. I will issue
:: :: a final ruling on the sail inventory no later than noon
:: :: on Friday 5/5.
