The boat is not salvagable, she was under water with a pile through
her back,at right angle to her slip, under a 10' surge with 3 to 4'
swells over her for 20+ hours. We just have never ever seen anything
like this. The hole is 4-5' wide, the starbord bow has a hole 3'
wideabove the waterline, the rudder is broken in half. The keel to
hull joint looks like new, not even a hair line crack.The express is
unbelievably strong, people who see her can not believe there is
anything left, its just those damn pilings
:: Dave,
:: I am in the process of rebuilding another E-27 after it
:: was damaged in a collision. Within the next couple of
:: weeks I am going to the moulds to make new parts. What
:: condition is your boat in? Is it salvagable or totaly
:: crushed? Do you want help fixing or would you want to
:: sell it?
:: With all the tough times down there I wish you well.
:: Hopefully you have not lost more than your boat.
:: Good Luck,
