We broke two lifelines. The first went just after the start of the first race. Ron went overboard, but we were able to grab him, drag him through the water for a bit, and finally get him back aboard! He shook it off like a champ, thanks Ron!

:: The winner of the regatta was Ray Lotto and crew on El
:: Raton. We (Moxie) were tied with El Rat going into the
:: last race and he sailed very cleanly and without any
:: mistakes to take the victory. Well done Ray!!!
::
:: Lots of carnage this last weekend. Strega lost the top
:: few feet of their mast. It looked like Peaches lost
:: their entire mast (though not confirmed) and we broke
:: several things....outhull, jib turning block, windex
:: (nice round-up that must have had the keel out of the
:: water), and the jib halyard tensioner.Lots of bumps and
:: bruises as well. But, we had some great surfs and very
:: fun weekend.
::
:: I second the "good times" comment. Too bad we didn't see
:: more of the fleet out there.
::
:: What other carnage did you other boats see?
::
:: :: Who won and who's going to write the story, and what
:: :: boat lost 3 foot at the masthead? Good times on the SF
:: :: Bay! Steve
