We used one for the Paccup in 2018. It works great as it is more sail
area, but the gybing is tricky. You can launch it out of the bag off
the rail like other spins. We fly it off the end of our regular spin
pole with it lowered down just above the bow pulpit. So the pole is
going to be on one side or the other of the headstay. Obviously on
the Paccup we weren't gybing very much, but if you do and want to be
able to rotate the pole back, you are going to have to move the pole
to the windward side of the forestay each time.
