I have occasionally heard people talk about using a "shy kite" on those days when it is really cranking, especially on the ocean. Is there a general rule for how much smaller one of these should be? My hopes are to do a lot more ocean sailing/racing this year and I’m thinking of getting one. Is this a must have for ocean racing or just a nice toy? Thanks in advance for your input!
