We used a #2 occasionally in PHRF when light on crew and in the 14-18
knot wind range (ish). There are SO many different ways to cut sails
that there's no pat answer on wind ranges and lead positions. Our #1
was fairly full (typically light air area). Lead position for the #2
was about a foot forward of where our #1 position averaged, so maybe
middle of the back window?

:: My quesiton is two part, one - Do people use a #2; next

:: Thanks for the help.
