Two crew is indeed a lot more work.
As much as I'd like to join the other class boats, missing out on the
doublehanded practice (equipment/procedures check) would probably be
a mistake leading into the Coastal Cup.
I don't see anything to prevent a double-handed crew in MORA (unless
the SI's will forbid it), but unfortunately that division isn't
allowed to use an autohelm, which will be a big help in gybes.

:: Hi Nathan
::
:: If you're planning a shake down for the coastal cup,
:: please consider sailing with at least three on Monterery
:: for MORA crewed qualification, knowing four crew is
:: ideal four coastal cup.
::
:: Then again, if you really want to go with two, you''re
:: doing something I have absolutely no interst in because
:: two crew is way too much work and cudo's to yuu.
::
:: If your really having trailor problems contract me at my
:: e-mail directly.
::
:: At this time Desperado on Tule Fog is overbooked with
:: crew and I can refer you to at least two others.

:: Mike :
::
:: :: The intent is to sail the race doublehanded as a
:: :: shakedown for the Coastal Cup.
:: ::
:: :: The main difficulty at the moment is the trailer
:: :: (scrambling to get Elise's ready after discovery of some
:: :: serious rust problems in a few of the verticals).
:: ::
:: :: -Nathan
:: ::
:: :: :: :: Elise will be there (doublehanded).

:: :: :: ::
:: :: :: :: :: What boats are planning on attending the Spinnaker Cup
:: :: :: :: :: this year? For some weird reason it did not get put on
:: :: :: :: :: the calendar. Can we get five boats to the line for?
:: :: ::
:: :: ::
:: :: :: Hi Nathan:
:: :: ::
:: :: :: Are you planning to race in the doublehanded division?
:: :: ::
:: :: :: Ideal crew is 3 - 4 for this race, can you swing one
:: :: :: more and race in MORA against other crewed boats?
