I never trailer back because its a 9 to 11 hour motor sail back. And who wants to hassle with the hoist at SSC after the race? I certainly don't, especially when the parties already underway.
SSC has assigned me a berth for up to a month in prior years for those who want to stay over in the Delta.
Easy to get crew home after the race; on ther RYC bus or Amtrack which my crew has always preferred.
See you on the Ditch Run.
