Subject: MAST FOREGUY rig

Hal,

The base of the mast is the best place to move the foreguy back to. You can single end or double end it depending on how you intend to sail your boat.

We actually rarely use a foregy. If you move your twings up closer to the shrouds (perpindicular to the shrouds works best) then they will act like the foreguy. The only time we actually use a foreguy is if it is really blowing (>25 knots) or if we are out in the ocean. Doing without the foreguy makes it easier to store the spin pole on the boom and one less thing to fool with when gybing or rounding the corners.

Cheers, Jason
