Subject: Spinnaker Pole

I broke my Spiny Pole last year and was able to buy just the tubing from West Marine. I just pop rivet the old ends on and used the old bridal. This saves about $100. There are some aluminum dealers back east that sell this tubing really cheap like $2.00 per ft. but shipping becomes a problem.

:: Hi Hal, Glad to see you've survived all the hurricanes!
:: I have a Forespar pole with Spectra or some other high
:: tech rope bridle and jaws that can be jammed onto the
:: ring on the mast. That is, you don't have to pull a
:: string to open the jaws. Seems to work pretty well.
