Subject: Outdoor winter storage (in Michigan)
Info: (20084 views) Posted: Tuesday 11-9-04 11:06:49 AM
Do any of you Detroiters have any recommendations for outdoor winter storage? I guess what I am looking for is anything from past experience that was helpful or unhelpful. The previous owner is recommending taking out the stations and putting antifreeze in the holes and putting antifreeze in the bilge. Sounds like a good idea to fight against good ole frost wedging. Then put a tarp over the boat (very securely). Then leave it at that. Let me know if there are any better ideas / recommendations. Also if any of you in the Detroit fleet have not met my brother Eric (the new owner of #99 Evolution) his email is [email protected] Dan Nikesch
