Many thanks to Larry and Ralph for your info.-packed replies! It is
my sense that, since the fleet is so race-active, very few boats have
bottom paint. What are our chances of finding an E-27 ready to tether
and set and go. I agree with your comments re: a light weight
air-cooled engine. Our W-21 is powered by a Honda 2hp which is air
cooled but shift-less. A centrifugal clutch-like drive does provide
neutral, however. Without water jacketing to attenuate sound, it is a
