Scott and all,

I chose to go with a small gell cell battery on our boat. I believe it is similar to the size of a motorcycle battery and probably weighs around 5-8 lbs. I recommend taking it out of the bow and moving it aft somewhere. Ours is located in the stbd seat in a nice tray. Lightweight and easy to get to.
