| In Dianne we were escaping the back pack and catching the lead pack on the run from Blackaller to Southhampton. We called the tank ship at Point Blunt on VHF 13 but they did not answer. We went left of the tank ship and that was the end of our good race because they went left also. We had to drop our spinnaker to slow down enough so we could take their stern and get down to Southhampton.
