Subject: Lifting straps
Info: (25788 views) Posted: Tuesday 1-18-05 06:33:45 PM
I have used spectra that I spliced loops into the ends. I made them the proper length so that all that had to be done is slide them over the winch. This way I know that it is in the correct position every time I launch the boat. The softer strap isn't as hard on the boat as the wire lifting strap though. Your choice in how much time and effort you want to put into it.
