Hi Bill,

I guess these are fairly tough times for everyone. I apologize for the timing of this last message...just had a hard time believing that you could get a new #4 made anywhere in the world for $275 shipped... just the cost of the raw materials wholesale in the US would exceed $275 before any type of shipping, design, cutting, labor hours, etc.

I would think that currently there are issues with new sail orders coming out of Hong Kong Sailmakers Inc. Contracted delivery times most likely are 2 months out at this point...personally I am trying as hard as possible to NOT buy anything made in China...it is very difficult but IMHO worth the extra effort to support all goods made in the USA....from a $2 toothbrush to a $2,000 sail I am looking/researching ways to buy stuff that is made in the Good Old USA!
