Subject: "Level" Racing--spinnaker
Info: (27082 views) Posted: Wednesday 2-19-03 08:06:00 AM
Final comment: If I were racing an Express 27 in a "Level" 123 class as in this year's St. Pete NOOD I would look into the possibility of souping up my boat by buying or borrowing an extra wide masthead spinnaker and a longer pole. (If this would not violate any rule.) The boat could handle a considerably bigger spinnaker in moderate breezes on a windward-leeward course, in my opinion.
