Anyone who really wants to buy a new Express 27 should contact Ron
Moore of Moore Sailboats in Watsonville. (Moore24) Ron is currently
working on my Express and we have discussed the idea of him building
the Express 27. He would welcome the opportunity. More important the
molds and tooling are still in Chico and Terry Alsberg work for Ron
Moore before building the Express 27. The original keel was poured
down the street from the Moore Boat works. It would be a lot cheaper
to ship the molds to Watsonville then NZ. There is a reality of
having one boat built today as opposed to waiting for three orders
for NZ. The Question is there really any buyers? If there is I would
be happy to help put a deal together.
