:: We are looking for a new partner for MOTORCYCLE IRENE,
:: hull #37. My partner in the boat for the last 4 years
:: has moved on to new persuits and would like to sell her
:: half of the boat as soon as possible. There are several
:: options:
::
:: A: Buy Kyla's half of the boat, valued at $12,000. A
:: great deal for you because I don't use it very much and
:: it is one of the most winning and sucessfull boats over
:: the last 10 years. I am a professional sailor,
:: sailmaker, and rigger and have outfitted the boat with
:: the best in custom equipment. Just 3 years ago we
:: completed a total refit of the deck so she now has gear
:: in all the right places, no holes or leaks, and brand
:: new nonskid all professionally painted. There are 2 new
:: sets of sails, one set of ocean racing sails, built in
:: auto pilot and GPS.
:: As my partner you would have access to the best of sails
:: and hardware at a fraction of normal cost. All I ask is
:: that you join me so I don't have to give up my baby
:: completly! I'll help you get up to speed, race the
:: nationals and do whatever. I don't need to drive and you
:: can take on whatever campaign you want on your own
:: terms.
:: The boat lives at Richmond YC and 1/2 insurance and
:: storage for a year will cost you about $1000. GREAT
:: deal, better than owning your own boat, don't miss it.
:: Start out by sailing the Three Bridge Fiasco with me in
:: 2 weeks.
::
:: B:Charter the boat for the year $6000. Get all of the
:: above for 1 year. Includes you using my brand new set of
:: sails all you want ($6000 right there). Maybe you are
:: wanting to buy a boat? Do this and get the best jump
:: start possible in the fleet. I will include a couple
:: days coaching and will sail the national championships
:: with you. See how its done right and build a talented
:: crew before you go off on your own.
::
:: C: You Buy The Boat: $24,000.
::
:: Boat includes:
:: 2 sets championship caliber sails, one brand new.
:: Many other sails, custom for shorthanded and ocean
:: racing.
:: Deck layout perfect for full crewed bouy racing or
:: shorthanded ocean racing- very well thought out.
:: Built in integrated autopilot and GPS system for
:: singlehanded racing.
:: Deck rebuild completed 3 years ago- about $10,000 worth
:: of work. Makes her good to go for another 20 years.
:: trailer, motor, saftey equipment, and all the usual
:: extra parts and necessary equipment.
:: Epoxy botom lovingly wetsanded to perfect finish.
::
:: Short list of accomplishments in last 10 years:
:: 2-National championships
:: One season championship
:: 4-5 midwinter championships
:: 2 NOOD regatta wins
:: Every One design regatta won at one point or another.
:: First overall 2 handed Lightship race.
:: First overall doublehanded Farallones race
:: First overall singlehanded Farallones race
:: Only beaten in downwind Delta Ditch Run by another e-27
:: once in about 8 races.
::
:: I have been sailing this boat for 11 years and hope to
:: for many more. She is a racing machine, but I really
:: have spent alot of time lately by throwing the cusions
:: in and going cruising with friends and family. It is a
:: great boat that I hope to be involved in for many years
:: to come. Please join the team and be part of this boat's
:: great history.
:: Thanks,
:: Will Paxton
