Congratulations to Dianne with their win in the Elite Keel Regatta.
Here is Steve's Top Ten List that he has submitted for publication.

ELITE KEEL STORY-A LIST OF TEN THINGS THAT HELPED DIANNE

1) The crew: Jarian Westfall, Laurel Schmidt, Mike Pastrone, Jeff Fellicetti

2) Will Paxton wasn't there.

3) This crew can change head sails, the hanked kind, in less then 2.3 minutes.

4) Wilie E Coyote didn't race Sunday.

5) Sun was shining.

6) It was my birthday weekend.

7. El Raton wasn't there.

8. We went left when we could.

The next SF event is one of my favorites, the Great Pumpkin! Saturday counts toward the SF Championship series and Sunday for the Long Distance Fun series.

Always a well attended and fun filled event that is not to be missed.

Saturday there will be 3 buoy races followed by camaraderie at the usually warm and pleasant RYC docks and at the club with a nice dinner ($15pp) at 5pm. The band starts at 6pm.

Sunday the ever popular pursuit race around Alcatraz and Angel. Get your strategy ready for which direction you plan to round the islands this year. Pick up a few pumpkins on the way? Always great fun. Awards ceremony at 5pm.

SI's available Oct 20 on-line and at the Club. Late fee if entry is received after Tuesday Oct 20. Entry deadline is Thursday Oct 22.

Looking forward to seeing you on and off the water.
