We used one for the Paccup in 2018. It works great as it is more sail area, but the gybing is tricky. You can launch it out of the bag off the rail like other spins. We fly it off the end of our regular spin pole with it lowered down just above the bow pulpit. So the pole is going to be on one side or the other of the headstay. Obviously on the Paccup we weren't gybing very much, but if you do and want to be able to rotate the pole back, you are going to have to move the pole to the windward side of the forestay each time.

Hope that helps.

:: Looking for help on using a Assymetrical spinnaker on
:: our E-27. We race every week here in Hawaii during the
:: season and have had this sail for a number of years but
:: never used it as we never figured out the best way to
:: launch and jibe. Any suggestions welcome.
