I may be able to help you on this. I used to sail an E22 and held on to a bunch of good, older sails. This hank on blade is about 10% smaller than our #3's. I have used one on my Express and it fits without any type of re-cutting.

If you know someone who owns an Etchells you can probably cut a deal or borrow one to test. I would sell you one of mine for $275 and cover shipping. It has metal hanks and Dacron cloth of about 7 ounce.
