I am looking for some ideas about what to do with my lifelines. Specifically, from the rear post back. Right now I have a steel cable running from the bow, through both posts and down to the base of the stern pulpit. Along with that there is 1" webbing running from the toe rail through the rear post to the top of the stern pulpit. With this set up the lifeline interferes with the winch handle. Any other ideas? Is the stock/normal routing uncomfortable for the driver? I have noticed the that a lot of the san fran boats dead end the lifelines on the toe rail rearward of the rear post. Reasons?
