Subject: The Weight Limit is 880 #
Info: (27664 views) Posted: Thursday 1-3-08 11:29:13 AM
Please can we drop this weight issue and leave it as 880lbs! Even if you change the weight to some other number someone will always be unhappy. If we remove the weight limit all together I feel it will destroy the class. Personally I like the 880lbs weight limit and do not want to see it changed it is the ideal weight for this boat.

Please let’s leave it alone!

:: Mike, I did not understand your post. Maybe I am
:: becomming senile. I support Bob's position. I am not a
:: fan of the weight limit and feel that is is one more
:: thing that effects fleet participation. I personally
:: turned away 8 potential crew for the Midwinters based
:: upon their weight. I had to turn away sailing expertise
:: in favor of low mass.

:: :: Hi Everyone:
:: ::
:: :: Sure the weight can be revisted. I thought it was
:: :: important to note that the vote did place the same
:: :: unique votes in a postion, that with just a few more
:: :: votes or some votes changing position, that the weight
:: :: was and remains a target for some improvement.

:: :: :: Dan,
:: :: ::
:: :: :: Thanks for the clarification. This is the first I have
:: :: :: seen the vote result. I had the impression that far more
:: :: :: folks were for an increase. I still support it, though.

:: :: :: On the water,
