I have had the same bad experiences with the functions of both my micro-net system and also with my racemaster as previously discussed. All were fully warrantied and currently seem to be working great.When racing one- design, they can be set to only display non-integrated functions.I hope that when Will writes up his proposal to update our rules, the class will vote in favor of allowing integrated instruments.Please think about the long term health of the class and not just about what you may currently have in your boat today.We do race against other classes of boats which allow them and we do not get any credit to our rating for not allowing them.

:: In the long thread, there was some confusion about my
:: success with TackTick instruments. My experience is not
:: with the wireless system, but rather with the sealed
:: large-display units (SpeedMaster, RaceMaster,
:: SailMaster). These units either have no wires at all
:: (RaceMaster is compass-only) or have direct wires to the
:: transducers (SpeedMaster, SailMaster). No wireless
:: components; no integration possibilities.
::
:: They are expensive, but very, very bullet-proof.
