They had already doused their chute and stopped beside me. I took their offer and got back into a boat (trying to stop a lightweight trimaran next to someone when it is blowing in the mid-20s is not easy so I figured I would not turn down El Raton. My crew ably finished the race on Papillon, only one boat behind El Raton! And I had many adventures with El Raton, but that is their story to tell. 1 cup white vinegar
1 cup borax powder
2 cups warm water
Mix ingredients in a bucket or in a spray bottle. Apply to the mildewed area and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse.
I haven't tried this, but a couple of years ago I almost asphixiated myself with a spray bottle of bleach solution. I plan to try this method next spring.
