Norcalsailing report featuring Summer Palace:
http://www.norcalsailing.com/entries/2012/06/05/ditchrun2.html#.T-iWoI2Mfqs Below quoted from Pressure Drop: Drew Scott was helming a F-28. "My crew is starting to swing around to pick me up when El Raton, in perfect control slides up beside me and asks if I would like to get picked up. They had already doused their chute and stopped beside me. I took their offer and got back into a boat (trying to stop a lightweight trimaran next to someone when it is blowing in the mid-20s is not easy so I figured I would not turn down El Raton. My crew ably finished the race on Papillon, only one boat behind El Raton! And I had many adventures with El Raton, but that is their story to tell. So, a great big thank you to the Ray Lotto and the crew of El Raton for pulling my soggy hide out of Suisun Bay!! Drew Scott Papillon (most of the time)" |

Brendan's AR is the Buoy Schedule and Eric has NA's specific focus.
There's no one handling PCCs that I know of . . . and it seems to be dropping off the schedule unless some one take's it up as their focus.
PCCs might be rolled in with some regular SF bay buoy series event. NA's was also briefly talked about following the same strategy . . . but Eric has picked up since and is talking to specific clubs including SCYC.
No one has been advocating a Monterey FLD Spin Cup as a feeder for Monterey bay event . . . idea seems dead in the water.
But Eric has been in conact with Santa Cruz YC RC who's in the midst of sorting out their schedule. 7/31, 8/7, 8/14 & 9/4 have been tossed around as e27 NA regatta dates.

:: -Has any work been done on the 2009 Nationals, and or PCC's last discussed at the 08' meeting the class was going to shoot for Santa Cruz or Monterey Bay for the Nationals. As having the Nationals in a location other then the Bay, the class members need some time to set up logistics of moving boats and securing hotel rooms, securing time off of work, etc.::
