"My crew is starting to swing around to pick me up when El Raton, in perfect control slides up beside me and asks if I would like to get picked up. They had already doused their chute and stopped beside me. I took their offer and got back into a boat (trying to stop a lightweight trimaran next to someone when it is blowing in the mid-20s is not easy so I figured I would not turn down El Raton.

My crew ably finished the race on Papillon, only one boat behind El Raton! And I had many adventures with El Raton, but that is their story to tell.

So, a great big thank you to the Ray Lotto and the crew of El Raton for pulling my soggy hide out of Suisun Bay!!

Lowering the price to $19,500. Moxie is very clean, dry-sailed boat with all the racing upgrades you could possibly ever want. Turn-key race ready boat with the following included:

Sails- (Racing) New UK #3 (used about 6-8 regatttas) Excellent condition spin Sails (club & beer can) 2 mains 2 genoas 1 #2 1 #3 1 #4 Back-up spin Shykite ½ ounce kite

Probably some other sails I can’t think of.

Tacktick wireless speed/depth. KVH sailcomp (kind of on its last leg but still working). I was going to add the compass transducer to the Tacktick once the sailcomp finally died, but it still keeps hanging in there.

The boat is also all tricked out for racing with many modifications. Brand new size 40 two-speed winches on the cabin top. No longer have the winches on the deck. Also has the jib halyard tensioner which works awesome for changing gears when the wind changes. Also, total external back-stay adjuster that is double-ended. Best layout in my opinion.

Brand new high tech spin sheets. All high tech halyards and adjustments.
