They had already doused their chute and stopped beside me. I took their offer and got back into a boat (trying to stop a lightweight trimaran next to someone when it is blowing in the mid-20s is not easy so I figured I would not turn down El Raton. My crew ably finished the race on Papillon, only one boat behind El Raton! And I had many adventures with El Raton, but that is their story to tell. The dates are
Nov 19, 2005 Jan 14, 2006 Feb 18, 2006 March 18, 2006
In the past, we have skipped the March race (due to conflicts with the Spring Keel and Lightship) and the club put on a make-up race just for us in December. They are willing to do that again this year.
