Jim,
You have a wide variety of options here. I think most of the
sailmakers have the designs figured out for our boat and can produce
a very good sail for you. UK Sailmakers comes to mind for me, but I
may be a bit biased. Seriously though, Santa Cruz sails also makes a
really good #3 right now as well.
The question is how much money do you want to spend, what type of
material are you looking for (this directly affects the first
question), and which loft will give you the best service.
My personal unbiased opinion, is to go with the sailmaker that can
provice you the best service. Who will give you advice, talk you
through things when you need them too, and even who will get out on
the boat with you and help you out.
That is what I was looking for before I became affiliated with UK.
And that is what I try to do for my customers now that I work for UK.
