Funny, I have been trying to do some research about these boats lately. There are a couple here in the bay area and I jsut noticed a different one is doing the Ditch run tomorrow with us.

It is a Schumacer design and similar the the e27. I have heard that the lines of the boat are basically what led up to the Synergy1000 (without the bowsprit). And I like the fact that they are retractable keels. I have heard that these boats were not constructed very well at least where the keel is concerned.

Some interesting reading at www.sonoma30.org

Anyone know how many of these were built?

The rig is very tall on these boats so I think it would be a great boat with a big bowsprit on it.
