Subject: Jib tracks
Info: (22930 views) Posted: Friday 9-27-02 10:23:00 AM
I am finally getting around to replacing the single, long stock jib tracks with shorter sections fore and aft for the jib and genoa but have questions about length and precise placement of the shorter tracks. Does anyone have any drawings, measurements, etc. that I could use to guide the placement of new, shorter jib tracks? Also, any thoughts on using jib cars that can be adjusted under load? That would seem to be overkill to me, given the small size of the headsails, but I would like to know whether anyone has used them with success. Thanks in advance.
