Are you suggesting that the driver sits on the centerline? That would be the only way that this would make any sense.

:: proposed rule for the skipper. Effectively it means that
:: the 4 hiking members of the crew can weigh 730 pounds.
:: This allows as much seriouus meat on the rail for all of
:: us just like the light skippers can now afford. This
:: makes sense as the skipper cannot hike so why should he
:: or she count in the total weight? This is an equalizer
:: for full sized adults like me as compared with 150 pound
:: skippers.
