Subject: Spinnaker Pole Storage - on boom?
Info: (16954 views) Posted: Wednesday 4-20-11 05:29:39 AM
We use this system also, as Ralph says it's easier to use overall. The only thing is that your bowperson will need to pay attention to the pole while it's stored in the boom because it will have a tendency to spin while in there causing the pole gear to get tangled.

Your local sailmaker can make one for you.

:: It's the only way to go. Quicker sets. No more jib
:: sheets under the pole on take downs.
::
:: :: I see in some of the photos that people are storing the
:: :: spinnaker pole on the boom.
:: ::
:: :: Is this the preferred method and also where do you buy /
:: :: make the storage bag for the pole.
