Subject: Hauling and blocking

Thanks for the info, Jason. I'm looking forward to joining the SF fleet!

:: Maryann,
::
:: Welcom to the fleet! I bought hull #56 some years ago
:: and had it shipped from South Carolina to SF on a flat
:: bed truck. As long as they have four pads holding the
:: boat in place on the truck (similar to how a normal
:: trailer holds the boat in place) all should be fine.

::
:: :: I recently bought hull #96 and will need to haul it out
:: :: of the water in preparation for its being shipped to San
:: :: Francisco. Where would the slings best be placed on the
:: :: hull? If the boat can't be put directly on the delivery
:: :: truck, what would be the best way to block it to store
:: :: it out of the water for a few days - number of blocks to
:: :: use, and placement? Does anyone have a blocking plan
:: :: that I could give to the yard? Thanks in advance for
:: :: your help.
