keep a look out on ebay. they appear from time to time at reasonable prices. I got a year old honda 2hp long shaft for $600 last year. It was the best investment I have made for the boat thus far. With my old 5hp merc I would have a violent reaction everytime I had to get it out. Saves me 20lbs and keep me sane. good luck in the ditch run. for us non-friscoites, where is the race to and from?
