Desperado relied on #2 for doible handed SSS SF, to get the 135 rating and found for full crew #2 is a waste of $; likey on both uses.. Sheets between the windows. mb

:: We used a #2 occasionally in PHRF when light on crew and
:: in the 14-18 knot wind range (ish). There are SO many
:: different ways to cut sails that there's no pat answer
:: on wind ranges and lead positions. Our #1 was fairly
:: full (typically light air area). Lead position for the
:: #2 was about a foot forward of where our #1 position
:: averaged, so maybe middle of the back window?
::
:: :: We race PHRF and have sometimes with light crew needed
:: :: to down size sails. I have a #2 Genoa but have to
:: :: convert the luff tape for the head foil system I have.
:: ::
:: :: My quesiton is two part, one - Do people use a #2; next
:: :: where does the lead car come to on the track? Is it
:: :: between the windows, etc.
:: ::
:: :: Thanks for the help.
:: ::
:: :: Don
