Hi Steve.

Thanks for the welcome,

I actually have a new-ish 2.3 Honda that I use with my Cal 20, but I wonder if the shaft is too short ; how long's the shaft on your outboard? Mine's a 15", I believe.

The Tohatsu is water-cooled, and weigh 60 lbs.

:: Welcome to the fleet and Brickyard Cove. Many e 27's,
:: mine included, use the Honda 2, or the newer 2.3, for an
:: outboard. A bit underpowered, but light and reliable.
:: Honda wieghs a bit less then 30 lbs and is easy to get
:: off and on the stern. Pushes the boat about 5 mph in
:: flat water and no wind or waves.

:: I am not familiar with the Tohatsu you mentioned. SDK
