Subject: Rudder Bearings
Info: (20462 views) Posted: Tuesday 2-5-08 07:16:03 AM
Hi Fred- Give Buzz Ballenger a call at Ballenger Spars, he manufactures the derlin bearings, and may even have some in stock. A year or so ago I replaced the top and bottom bearings on my boat and I think it was around 100-150 including shipping. Buzz is the best bet. :: Greetings from S. Cal,
::
:: Infinity and Beyond is still making its way around the
:: marks down in Dana Point, but would like to see a little
:: more air than the normal 3-5 knots we have down here.
::
:: My question relates to rudder bearings. Quite a few
:: years ago there was a project to produce new delrin (?)
:: rudder bearings for the E27. As Infinity's rudder
:: bearings are showing there age, I was wondering if
:: anyone knows if a source for new bearings has been
:: located.
::
:: I would appreciate a response by email if possible, I
:: will be checking back here occasionally.
::
:: Have a great season in 2008
::
:: Fred Voss
