Hello Everyone,

Announcing the Schedule for the 2011 Express 27 SF Championship and SF Long Distance Series.

The 2011 SF Championship Series is comprised of traditional buoy regattas, challenging distance, double handed, combination regattas, and a traditional ocean race, with 10 of those events followed by a social. The schedule reflects the versatility of the boat and the members of the fleet.

The 2011 SF Long Distance Series builds on the Distance races in the SF Championship Series by adding the Double Handed Lightship and the Double Handed Corinthian race for a total of 11 races.

Many of the event dates have changed from last year. That has created an opening for the popular SSS Corinthian race, however, date changes have compressed the front end of the LD series. The change in dates leave one less championship event, however, has created a better cadence to the schedule.

-The fleet continues to grow, and so does the fun. 
-2011 will be a great year for the Fleet! 
-I look forward to seeing each one of you out on the water!

-Jan 29: Three Bridge Fiasco (SSS)

-Mar 5-6: Spring Keel (StFYC)
-     Express 27 Annual Awards Presentation on Saturday after racing in the North West Room
-April 9: DH Farallones (BAMA)
-April 30- May 1: Vallejo - Both Days (YRA)
-     Sign up for the Party Circuit and save some money over single race entry.
-May 14-15: Elite Keel (SFYC)
-June 4: Delta Ditch Run (SSC/RYC)
-June 25-26: NOOD (StFYC)
-     This promises to be even more spectacular in 2011. 
-     City front venue requested for the fleet. Entry includes food each day of racing. 
-July 23: Second Half Opener - Saturday only (YRA)
-     Sign up for the Party Circuit and save some money over single race entry.
-Aug 27-28: Sarcoma Cup - Both Days (BYC)
-     Pre-nationals tune-up opportunity
-Sep 16, 17, 18: National Championship (SFYC)
-     Hosted by the San Francisco Yacht Club.
-     Friday will also be included on the Long Distance Series, but
-     "Friday Only" Entrants will not be scored in the Nationals.
-     All Three days of Nationals will be scored towards the Nationals
-     and the Championship Series
-Oct 15-16: Simpson Regatta (StFYC)
-Oct 29-30: Great Pumpkin - Both Days (RYC)
