>>Partial retraction: One of our fleet members just switched from hanks to a foil after ripping his spinnaker a couple of times, the last time a big rip. I have ripped spinnakers a few times. Maybe it was on the hanks. But I still prefer hanks.
>>I like the way the genoa and the jib set with a headfoil. The ability to change headsails more easily is a plus but is only used infrequently. I did win a North channel race, passing Weatheredge on a sail change. They had a hanked on headsail.
